Today, rather than blabbing, I just thought I'd post some of my favorite photos Larry has taken.
(There was a demonstration of forging metal in the park at L'Isle sur la Sorgue. This man is hard at work.)
(This is the winding staircase at our hotel that we climb up and down several times a day....60 stairs....but who's counting?!)
(These are just a couple of the many ancient waterwheels on the many canals of L'Isle sur la Sorgue. During medieval times this area was known for dying textiles and the waterwheels were used for this process. So, they've worked hard in the past and they add beauty to our present.)
(another view of the beauty of the Carcassonne castle)
(Larry's experiment....a blurred view of the Champs de Elysees from the top of the Arc de Triomphe)
(an interesting gentleman we met along the way)
Answer to yesterday's question of the day: There are three stars in the Michelin rating system. The restaurant that we ate the other night, Le Parc in Carcassonne, is rated with 2 stars and it was absolutely magnifique!. Today's question of the day: I've developed a bit of a mind game for myself. I check out other diners in our restaurant (clothes, shoes, hairstyle, etc.) and try to guess what language they will be speaking with their dining friends. Wanna play along? This is an easy one...in which language do you think this couple was conversing?
