(I think this is the only machinery they use for harvesting the grapes
from the steep terraced vineyards. We watched them
at work while hiking from Manarola to Corniglia.)

(While on our hike we ran across this beautiful farmhouse and the
lovely people living there. It's hard to tell from the pic,
but this lady is bottling their squeezed grapes for their
household wine. They were so sweet to explain what they
were doing using only gestures.)
